These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of electrical services (“Services”) by Electrical Expert (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to the client (“you” or “client”) within London and surrounding areas. By requesting or receiving our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Scope of Work

We agree to provide electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, repair, and other related services as agreed upon in writing or as discussed at the time of booking. Any variations or additions to the scope must be confirmed in writing and may result in additional charges.

2. Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

  • Prices are inclusive of labour, standard materials, and VAT (if applicable) unless stated.

  • Additional work not covered in the original quote will be charged separately with prior client approval.

3. Bookings & Appointments

  • Appointments can be scheduled via our website, phone, or email.

  • While we aim to be punctual, unforeseen delays may occur. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases.

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

4. Access & Safety

  • You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and electrical systems.

  • The work area must be clear and free from hazards.

  • Any health and safety risks must be disclosed prior to the commencement of work.

5. Payments

  • Invoices are due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept payment via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.

  • Late payments may incur a 5% interest charge per month and result in service suspension.

6. Warranty & Liability

  • We offer a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of completion.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and materials.

  • We are fully insured, but we are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing faults

    • Misuse or tampering after completion

    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss

7. Regulations & Compliance

  • All work will be carried out in compliance with current UK Electrical Safety Regulations and relevant British Standards.

  • Where applicable, we will notify the local authority and issue certificates (e.g., EICR, Minor Works, etc.).

8. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a £50 cancellation fee.

  • In the event of a no-show by the client, the same fee will apply.

9. Privacy

  • We respect your privacy and will only use your data for service-related purposes.

10. Disputes

  • If a dispute arises, we encourage open communication to resolve the matter amicably.

  • Failing resolution, either party may seek mediation or legal recourse under UK law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London.
